For all my Pro Workspaces, I cannot seem to edit the dataflow settings as they're all grayed out.    They are going on about their pre scheduled refreshs properly as they should. Hi, I am unable to configure gateway connections for dataset for a pbix report uploaded. I have created data source connections prior to uploading the file. All the 23 data sources are on-prem. When I tried to apply the gateway connections (all have green check marks), I got this error message: I also noticed this banner. The dataset does not have any cloud data souces:     Edit: @v-yetao1-msft  I originally just uploaded the pbix file to the web portal. The file was built using the Power BI Desktop RS Jan 2022 version. Then I tried to open the pbix file in the RS Jan 2022 and published to our P1 capacity-backed workspace. The issue persists.   Then I opened the file in Power BI Desktop Oct 2022 for powerbi.com version. I saved the file and published it again. The issue persists.   Some of the data source connections are also used by other reports without an issue. The other connections were created just for this report. Power BI Report refrershes failing with Timeout Error using Data Gateway from 31st Dec. we are currently running on November 2023 update (3000.198.17). Error Messages We are gettin on different datasets on different Data sources, not any particular datasource or dataset. This similar issue we have faced in starting 1st Week of Dec 2023 also that time we have upgraded the Gateway version and the issue was gone for couple of week now again it has started from 31st Dec.  Microsoft Article says it support Gatewya for last 6 release. For a Large enterprise runnig large scale data refresh and power bi environment if this kind of issue happens very frequently there is a problem/bug with the service release for Power BI service that needs to be fixed ASAP. I have a problem with a published dataset, with the error message "Looking up invalid data on a dense spool". It happens with a single measure and only in PBI Service. The dataset was fine and this suddenly started to happen. When I'm using PBI Desktop, there are no errors, but I soon as I publish the data and connect my report via Live Connection, any visual with the measure returns the error. The measure is quite simple, just a SUMX with a simple CALCULATE filter, and it's used in many other measures of the report which do not return any error message.   I have already tried: - Recreating the measure; - Republishing the dataset; - Deleting and republishing the dataset; - Creating a new file with PBIT template and connecting/   None worked.    If anyone has had this problem in the past, I'd appreciate some advice, thank you. ... The DataMart has been working in the main, although automated refreshes have stopped a few days ago. Now I can't even refresh manually and am getting the following error.    Error: undefinedErrorMessage=The current operation was canceled because one or more operations failed..HttpStatusCode=0.   This means all the work that we've done to establish this new process using PowerBI risks being compromised. Hello,   All of our dataflows no longer appear in Power BI and subsequently, any dependent reports are receiving an error. The dataflows were hosted in premium (per user) capacity. It appears to have happened sometime between 9:00a - 10:30a CST.   We have some of the dataflows backed up and exported as .json from our disaster recovery documentation, but they do not reflect any recent changes. I have some datasets that contain R scripts. They ran successfully for months.   Starting from today they can't be updated (Unable to detect a gateway. Please, verify the gateway is up and running).   I user personal gateway. Other datasets are still updated successfully. Data is successfully updated in Power BI Desktop.   What I tried to do. 1) restarted computer. 2) created new workspace and registered reports in new workspace. Hi All,   Our gateway, datasets, reports etc have all disappeared from Power BI Service. Workspaces are either not loading or not viewable. I spoke to a Power BI administrator at another company and they are also experiencing similar problems. Yesterday, all my datasets were refreshing just fine but today nothing happens. - The automatic refresh hasn't done anything. - When I press "Refresh now", I get a "popup" saying "preparing refresh" for a split second and then nothing happens.   The only way to update the data is to refresh the Desktop version and then upload it.    I have datasets connection to an on-premises database and one connecting to a sharepoint site. - The on-premises connection usually works perfect, but now nothing happens. - The sharepoint connection usually brings up an error,  if I try to refresh, but now nothing happens (I just tried it this time as a test, as it usually doesn't work automatically).   Can you please help troublefinding - It seems like an issue on you online portal somehow.   Thanks in advance.   // Tommy ... I am trying to use Microsoft Fabric (Trial Lisence) Dataflow Gen2 to Get Data (a webscrape) but it either gives me a Catastrophic Error Failure or it complains that WebView2 is not installed even when it is. I have done this both via my local PC using Edge and an Azure VM to rule out it is not a local setting. I have done repairs to both WebView2 and Edge but nothing seems to work. I would like to see if others are getting the same issue as me? (Sidenote - I can do the below in Power BI desktop no issues so it is not the query or the site) 1. Log into https://app.fabric.microsoft.com go to the (Synapse) Data Engineering experience and create a Lakehouse (preview). I have been working on a series of ETL dataflows in a PPU workspace. The source is a cloud SQL server concted through an on premises gateway. Until yesterday I did not have any issues with computed entities; today I tried to edit one and got the error "Computed tables require Premium to refresh. To enable refresh, upgrade this workspace to Premium capacity, or remove this table." I asked for the gateway server to be rebooted and this did not resolve the issue. I created a new PPU workspace, added a new dataflow sourced to the same gateway connection with 2 tables, saved, refreshed, then tried to merge and get the same error; I tried with an onsite SQL server connected through the gateway, and get the same error. I tried connecting to the onsite SQL server without the gateway (Create new connection) and got an "Unexpected error (Session ID: 30ed5e9f-2b87-4954-a402-f69d5e203921, Region: us)". In the meantime, the original dataflows that have scheduled refreshes that include computed entities are working fine.
