In Power BI Desktop I am running into an issue where I cannot format visualizations that are part of a group. When selecting the visualization in the group and navigating to the Format visual tab, no options are available and it says "Formatting options are unavailable for this visual". The only workaround is to ungroup the visualization, make formating changes, then re-group it with the other visualizations. This has been happening for the past week or two. Sometimes it will let me format visualizations in a group, but most of the time it shows the message below.

All pop-up windows are zoomed in and unusable. For example: when I have a table, and I click a column for conditional formatting, then click background color, the pop-up that should let me set the parameters is zoomed in, and I can't submit my choices because the edge of the pop-up cuts off part of the buttons. Otherwise, if I am refreshing the data the pop-up that tells me what % is done is too zoomed in to see any information. Description of the Issue: Hello Power BI Support Team, I am facing a visualization inconsistency between my report as viewed on Power BI Desktop and its appearance after being published to Power BI Workspace. While the report is displayed perfectly on Power BI Desktop, the visualization changes post-publishing, leading to a misalignment in the matrix content. Detailed Observations: In Power BI Desktop: Transparent shapes overlay the matrix content, which are precisely aligned as intended. Upon Publishing to Power BI Workspace: The published report reveals that, although transparent shapes and other objects retain their initial placement, the matrix content seems misaligned or compressed. Specifically, it appears the matrix rows have shifted or adjusted, causing the transparent shapes no longer to align correctly with their intended content. Font Size Observations: When setting the font size to 8, the matrix rows seem compressed. However, when configuring the font sizes to any value above 8, the matrix appears to stretch, introducing a side scrollbar as evidence. Steps to Reproduce: Create a report in Power BI Desktop, incorporating a matrix with transparent shapes overlaying its content. Ensure these shapes are aligned with the matrix content. Adjust the font size of the matrix to observe varying behavior. Publish this report to Power BI Workspace. View the published report and contrast against its Desktop version. Significance of the Issue: I require precision in alignment due to my intent to export every report page post-publishing. Each page will serve as an individual slide for a presentation aimed at the company's executive board. This perfect alignment is not merely an aesthetic preference but vital for delivering clear and professional presentations to our leadership. Hello everyone, Today I've been working with a problem (probably a bug) when joining the new slicer visual object with a bookmark with the "Selected visuals" and "Data" options selected at time of selecting the new slicer. The goal was to mantain the value selected in the slicer when changing between bookmars but, for some reason, it doesn't work when implementing that bookmark in a custom button (when using directly the bookmarks in the bookmarks pane it seems to work fine). However, implementing this solution with old slicer works ok, but, old slicer doesn't have the customizable properties than the new one.

Hi there I've got a Dashbord where I use Microsoft ChicletSlicer 1.6.3. I've tried to update it to the latest version. Once loaded the new one (Version 2.0.0) it seems OK, however when I save the file the reopen it, while pressing the About Button on the visual I still have previous version displayed. So it seems the visual has not been updated, while instead if I try to update it again I've got the message "the report already contains a copy of this visual 2.0.0 ..." Just to double check if this is not a real problem, so the visual is updated even if the version displayed in the About is the old one Thanks in advance Krgds F

Hi, I have a data presented in Map visualisation (Map from standard PowerBI visualisations) and just dicovered that data for Saudi Arabia (ISO code SA) is shown on the map in place where South Africa is located (South Africa code is ZA -> the data for ZA are displayed correctly, so I have two bubbles in South Africa and no bubble over Saudi Arabia). Could you please check and fix this? It worked correctly few months ago. The correct codes are SA for Saudi Arabia and ZA for South Africa.

Hi, Is there currently an issue on Power BI as when I am trying to filter the page and export to PDF, the filters are not being included in the PDF and all the data is showing. Does anyone know when this will be resolved? Thanks

This new update seems to not have the option to change the colors when I have data in color saturation. I am trying to use color saturation to do a heatmap and it defaults to blue. Before the update, I could choose the color scales where 0 is red and 100% is green. Please help.

Hi, I have a matrix visual with customer names in the rows. For each customer I show the turnover per year. Now I want to store a web URL for each customer on row level. However, the conditional formatting is only possible for the values but not for the rows in a Matrix Visual. Does anyone have an idea for this?

I'm using a Gantt chart to track ownership of assets. All of the below have the same commencement date, and a few months different in end date. As you can see, the start points of the bars are not rendering consistently and some are defaulting to sharp instead of rounded corners. This appears to be a visual bug.

I have this chart on my dashboard that shows me a measure per hour. The bars are its medium value for each hour in a period and the error bar are the maximum value for each hour in the period. The problem is, this is the chart on my desktop Power BI: And this is the same chart, with the same data and same filters applied, in the published dashboard: You can see that it ignores the maximum value error bar at the online version. Is there something I can do to fix it? Thx.

I tried to import some custom visuals from the Microsoft Visual Store but every time I tried to import one, I get the following error message: It does not matter which custom visual I try to import and it also does not matter if I try to import it in an existing dashboard or in a completely new one. Hi there, If you create or have a custom channel grouping in GA4 it will break the PBI connector because all dimensions apparently require a description... there is an option to add a description to your custom channel grouping in GA4 but unfortunately, that does not pass through to Google's Analytics Data API. Can we please have the GA4 connector bypass or ignore this condition? Custom Channel Groupings will be in common use for GA4 users, a fix would be much appreciated. Error

I have downloaded the November 2021 update and enabled the new format pane. I cannot find how to show the values on the rows for the matrix visual. I am however able to copy matrix visuals where this is already set up. The new update of the OKViz Bullet Chart (2.2.9.4) released on the 19th of July caused some of the bullet charts to render blank. This occurs in the PBI desktop and service. The majority of bullet charts we use started to render blank visuals. This visual is imperative to our business and there is not another visual that adequately replaces the Bullet Chart by OKVIZ. We are very unhappy that the update was not able to happen on the promised date of 7/27/2022.

Hi Team - I am using R Script (Library igraph) to show lineage in Power BI visual. I am using three colours to represent status - Green for Success, Red for Failure and Yellow for incomplete. These colours are showing properly in PBI desktop.However when I Publish the dashboard in service the colours are entirely different - Orange for Success, Blue for Failure and Dark Green for incomplete. This looks like a bug in service , can you please help suggest a resolution/worka around to resolve this. Regards Vianyak P Nair
