Licenes for embedded reports used by "external" users

Hi!

We are creating Power BI Reports which are meant to be used by our external customers in an embedded environment. The external customers log into our Engagement Center and there can among others see their own Power BI reports.

We are now wondering how licensing would work in such scenario.

Appreciate any ideas!

Which method do you use to embed the report in Engagement Center?

Is the Power BI report resides in Power BI service or Power BI report server?

Hi Qiuyun,

For the moment we are focusing on a project that have reports in PBI Service. But in future we might have scenarios where we have the reports on report server. So any general information regarding each scenario is appreciated.
