Header icon properties - missing on old report

Hi

I have a pbix that was created approx 3 years ago (I mention this in case it is a backward compatability issue) and I am trying to enable the Help Tooltip  on a matrix, but when I got to the properties in the edit pane, this is what I see:

I wondered if this was a bug in the new format pane but the issue persists with the old version (via the edit report in service):

This leads me to believe it is related to the file and not the client as I can edit this property just fine in other reports:

I have tried this on two different machines and the service, and I am unable to resolve this issue myself.

Hi @music43 

Based on your testing, as you said this should be a problem with the report , not the Desktop. Since I can't restore your scenario from my side, maybe you can provide your pbix file for reference.

I have removed everything sensative by deleting all the company data and adding a simple measure so as to showcase the issue with the missing Header Icon properties. All 3 visuals have this issue.

Hi music43,

  I had same issue with 2 recents reports, one had the options and not the other.

  So I compared the Option Files, and the solution is to enable "Use the modern visual headerwith updated styling options" in "Report settings" part.
