Google Analytics - Connector not working

There seems to be a connector for GA4 data now, unfortunately, although it works in the Power Query, as soon as you click 'Close & Apply' it fails with an error.

Need this fixed to access GA data.

It’s a known issue . The engineers are actively working on this issue and I will come back with an update if there is any progress.

Hey @v-yetao1-msft how can we be made aware of this fix and when we'd be able to connect to GA4? (the cut off from GA classic is in 8 day 😅)

The issue has been resolved after reinstalling the latest version. It is now working fine for me.

The reported issue was solved with the new Version: 2.118.828.0 but there is still the following issue when publishing to PBI service.

oh are you guys tracking fixes and update concerning GA4? Is there a thread somewhere we can subscribe to be made aware asap?

Just tagging on this thread here. I've got the same problem. I can use fine in PBI Desktop, but when publishing to server, I get the same error messages mentioned above.

I maintain a client's online commerce dashboards and they import GA data for analysis.

@JosCrdn  we opted for a month-to-month Windsor.ai contract until this works. 

 

Hope it gets sorted out soon. I would have thought Microsoft would have the GA4 implementation working well before UA gets retired.
