I believe this issue coincides with the June update. 2 days ago PBI Desktop stopped allowing me to refresh data and produced the following error: JSON integer 4294967295 is too large or small for an Int32. Path '[4].MaxLength', line 1, position 1697. I tried other reports that access the same database and they also error out with this message - the position information changes. So I opened a NEW file on Desktop and attempted to bring down some tables from the database and it errors out with the same message. Everything was working fine until the June update hit. Strangely, the published report on service being accessed by multiple individuals is still running the Scheduled Refreshes and working. It is only an issue on Desktop.  I have other reports - accessing data on customers sharepoint sites and excel datasets and all are working properly. Getting the following when trying to open a PBIX file that has previously worked with no issues. Myself and multiple others have tried to open all getting the same message back. In the latest version 2.114.664.0 64-bit (February 2023) the requirements for importing a custom theme seem to have changed. For icons, the message from power bi reads: #/icons must be array (type; matching schema #/properties/icons/type)   Looking in the schema, the way to resolve this seems to be to change the format from: "icons": { "IconID": { "description": "IconDescription", "url": ""}}   To this: "icons": [{"description": "IconDescription","url": ""}]    When you try to include the name of the icon, you receive this error message: #/icons/0 must NOT have additional properties (additionalProperties; matching schema #/definitions/themeIcon/additionalProperties)   The issue lies in the fact that the name of the icon is used in conditional formatting to return a specific custom icon for a specific value, based on the field value. This is laid out in your 2019 feature summary https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-july-2019-feature-summary/ (Icon sets for table and matrix)   This is a critical issue for our organisation as we are no longer able to update icons centrally, via a custom theme. Hi all,   I have been experimenting with the new PBI field parameters function (still in preview). It was said this could work as an alternative for a measure which uses SWITCH and SELECTEDVALUE to change between different measures in a visual.   I made a setup of several KPIs in a slicer (Turnover, Productivity, etc.) which refer to different measures, which works perfectly fine when putting it as a single column in a table (it splits the turnover over the different buckets). However, I would like to always have it sorted by the Bucket with the highest Turnover or Productivity instead of alphabetical order, so I apply a sorting order on the visual. This sorting always resets after changing to a different measure. See my screenshots below My initial thought was this coud be because the column name is different, so I tried the same while keeping the same column name:   The same issue remains. Which in my opinion makes the function useless for this purpose, because you cannot set any default sorting on a table or matrix visual. Anyone already experienced the same problem or knows whether this is a bug because so far it is only in preview?   If this is the case, I would like to opt this to be fixed before going to General Availability with the field parameters functionality.   Like to hear from all of you!   ... I am experiencing an issue currently where the Visio visual is not loading in Power BI Desktop. I beleive the issue is due to some changes from February 2023 update. Through troubleshooting, I believe it is related to a permissions error on the Power BI Desktop side when the visual is trying to reach out to the embded link from Sharepoint. Screenshots are shown below and further details. The same Power BI desktop file was opened in both verisions with no changes.    February 2023 Version(Blank Visual) December 2022 Version(Visual show on left) The following steps were already attempted to resolve the issue in the Feb 2023 version. Refresh all visuals. Uninstall and reinstall Power BI from Microsoft App store. Cache cleared before uninstall. Re-embed link and refresh visual. Clear all data permissions and sign in with credentials. Attempt to use OneDrive and utilize embeded link from one drive. Created a new file and rebuild visual using same sharepoint and ond drive embded links. Downloaded sample from Visio visual, the sample Power BI application did show a visual successfully. This lead to the conclusion that the update is causing the error versus the Visio visual. Published to BI Service. Visio visual was shown successfully but Power BI Desktop continued to show no visual. My report does not get published to the Power BI Service for various reasons so this does not help me other than to rule out a permissions issue.   I would appreciate input on any possible solutions or if there is a timeline for a fix for this issue.   Thank You!           ... I am using the PowerApps visual in PowerBI and in the past, when I add a field to the PowerApps Data, the PowerApps visual will reload to give me the option to Create New or Choose App. Now, when I add a field, nothing happens. Hello,   I have faced a problem while trying to load Parquet files. I am trying to create a content column from Binary using Parquet.Document([Content]) syntax, to get to the data later on. I am receiving the error Unexpected error: Unable to load DLL 'ParquetSharpNative': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E). Full error down below.   Here is an M code:   addContentCol = Table.AddColumn(#"Removed Other Columns", "ContentTable", each Parquet.Document([Content]))     Then I've tried to expand the Binary content using the UI and received the error without description. We can no longer share a dashboard with users from our own workspace. I received the message: "This dashboard contains Power BI Pro content. Only users that have Power BI Pro will have access to it"   I confirmed my fears by publishing the simplest of reports which is 100% non-pro content. There have been a few other mentions of it on the forum in the past couple of hours, but I thought I'd create an official post.    1st sharing was disabled from Group Workspaces to non-pro users. Surely Microsoft has accidentally disabled ALL sharing for non-pro users ?
