Issue with the RealTime Refresh In embeded scenario

Hi guys    After a couple of days the refresh of the dashboards embeded in our web page is not working. The tiles of that dashboards are from a report directly connected to a push dataset filled by azure stream analytics. This method was working well some years but recently the refresh of the dashboards is not working anymore.   I tried to use one of the samples code provided in Embed content in your Power BI embedded analytics application - Power BI | Microsoft Learn page to test a scenario outside our angular application but we have still the same problem.   Its a very strange error in embeded because the dashboard in Power BI Service works perfectly.   One thing that i discover in my test is the real time tiles from the dashbord connectet directly to the push dataset working well in the embeded, but all the tiles coming from the report dont.    This gif is from the embeded test. Here we can see how the two tiles of the top are working well but the table doesn't refresh the data. This is because the table come from the report and the tiles are connected directly to the data set.   This gif is from the power bi service, in this case, we can see how all the tiles are refreseh properly when new events are pushed to the dataset.   Any ideas why this error is happening since a few days ago?   Thanks for the help.     ... Could you please explain more about that how can I reproduce your problem? Embed a report with for your customer, then change the dataset, then check if the embeded report update?

Power BI Online Interface Feature Missing(Possible Bug-Urgent)

Hello Team,   This morning on Mar 8th 2023, I have noticed that Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Power BI Online Interface where there was a change in how the left panel icons look like. Then there was a very important feature that is missing now, which is the three lines on the left side of the page that allows the page to move to the right side to allow us to expand the workspace and then be able to view mulitple report templates and also allows us to copy and paste content of reports between different templates in the same workspace. See Screenshot below:-     Please bring back this feature as it allows us content creators to copy and paste content across different report templates in the same workspace and save us tons of time.    Let me know if I need to create a support ticket with Microsoft if you think this is a legit bug as we really need urgency in getting this fixed in the next update as we all use this feature a lot. I reproduced your problem in https://msit.powerbi.com/  and this feature still exists in https://app.powerbi.com/ .
This is a design of the new UI and not a bug.

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

The HTTP 429 Too Many Requests response status code indicates the user has sent too many requests in a given amount of time. Please review the following threads which have the same problem with you, hope they can help you.

Matrix export not functioning properly with measures

Within embedded PowerBI it is possible to export the underlying data of a specific visual:     When I export an visual containing measures I no longer gain the measure output in my Excel file. Bar Charts are not refreshing on dashboard

We have a Dashboard consisting of 4 pinned cards and 2 pinned Bar Charts. We are pushing data updates through a console application that uses API connections every 1 minute. When the update occurs, we see all visuals temporarily go blank (we are deleting and replacing the entire dataset, as appending will not account for existing rows being edited. We also have logic to show a text string in the cards if the aggregation would be blank). After a few second, the 4 card visuals update to the latest values, however the Bar Charts stay blank. We've tried all the different Bar Chart visuals, and each one remains blank after a data push. Column Charts do not seem to be affected by this issue, and act the same as the cards.  The Bar Charts have a few filters specific to each chart, to show only one value of a few categorical fields we use. Hi there,   If you create or have a custom channel grouping in GA4 it will break the PBI connector because all dimensions apparently require a description... there is an option to add a description to your custom channel grouping in GA4 but unfortunately, that does not pass through to Google's Analytics Data API. Can we please have the GA4 connector bypass or ignore this condition? Power BI Service data refresh error

Hi all,   Not sure it is just me or everyone else but i run into the following error message since last Saturday.    I used a custom connector + on-premises gateway and the data refresh works just fine (scheduled + manual). I can't assign new workspaces to my embedded capacity anymore (app ows data)

Hi Everyone,   I have a subscription for embedded capacity (app owns data) and ever since I had the Fabric Trial I can't choose my embedded capacity for new workspaces anymore. The menu changed, and the option for embedded capacity is always grayed out with a tiny i for info, that says I don't have access to the capacity, which is impossible as I am the owner and only person in my company, so if I don't have access, nobody does.  Before I could also assign Embedded capacity via admin settings, but that doesn't take now. I changed one very important workspace to embedded yesterday via admin settings, and I still cannot access the report through my embedded app, while the reports in workspaces that I didn't change during trying Fabric still work perfectly.   I really need urgent help for this as this report has to be live for my customer tomorrow.   Thank you in advance.   Kind regards, Sabrina ... Drill Through not correctly working in PowerPoint Presentation

Live embedded PBI Reports in PowerPoint can drill through if not in full screen mode but if I am presenting i cannot Drill-Through as a different menu appears when I right click. This makes showing seniors the power of the software difficult as I'll have to close out of full-screen to show them the drill-through feature. They plan to use PBI in live meetings to discuss trends, if drill-through does not work in full screen they will not be impressed. Is there a way we can fix this?       ... View more

When you go full screen, the options you right click inside target your PPT and not the embedded report, so drill through does not apply. Of course you can also choose to provide your ideas to the Ideas forum . If a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Power BI Admin Portal - Can't Add Groups to Workspaces

Although we can add Azure AD groups to Workspaces normally, you're not able to add Azure AD groups to Workspaces through the Admin Portal.  This is compounded by the fact that 'Add-PowerBIWorkspaceUser' has the same issue, where you can't add in AD groups.  Please help in addressing these bugs.   ... Smartsheet Connector Bug in August 2021 Update

The Smartsheet Connector in the August 2021 update does not recognize any supported browsers when trying to connect. The dialogue boxes request that the user update their browser so that the authentication process with Smartsheet can be used.   I have tried all browsers and have verified that I was using the latest versions of those browsers and the Smartsheet Connector is still not working. Yesterday I got this same error after upgrading to the latest version of Power BI Desktop (from MS download, not MS Store).  I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Power BI Desktop and everything started working again. Adobe Analytics API Issue

There appears to be an issue with Microsoft and the IDbCommand net frame which allows token refreshes for Adobe Analytics API tokens. This started about 10 days ago. I have developed multiple datamarts with connections to azure databricks. The refreshes of the datamarts are loading successfully but when I go to view the datamart this error message pops up. Exchange Online Web API's throwing errors

I have an existing model that has been working great but today it is throwing errors. Specifically when trying to import Calendar data from Exchange Online, the Web API throws a failure during Power BI data transformation option converting calendar item categories to a semi-colon separated lists.
