Google Analytics 4 Connector | Custom Channel Group

Hi there,

If you create or have a custom channel grouping in GA4 it will break the PBI connector because all dimensions apparently require a description... there is an option to add a description to your custom channel grouping in GA4 but unfortunately, that does not pass through to Google's Analytics Data API. Can we please have the GA4 connector bypass or ignore this condition? Custom Channel Groupings will be in common use for GA4 users, a fix would be much appreciated.

I did a simple test this need seems to be unattainable at the moment.

If you would like to suggest  feature improvements, you may  vote the idea and comment here  to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
