Unhandled exception error....arithmetic operation rsulted in overflow

Upon login I keep getting the attached. The error box itself is unresponsive, and does nothing when I clock Details, COntinue or Close. I have tried deleting all prior Power BI files and re-installing the software. These have not worked.

Hi @vp1966, 

 

It looks like the issue happens when you sign in Power BI account in Power BI desktop, right? 

 

Waht's the detail error message displays? Please share a screesnhot. Do mask sensitive data before uploading it. 

 

Please update the Power BI desktop to the latest version 2.68.5432.841 .

I had already updated to that version. I think I have solved the issue (kind of). My laptop is touchscreen, and I disabled the tablet mode which appears to have fixed the issue. A previous comment about this exception error had mentioned that it seemed to relate to tablet mode. So it looks as though this somehow causes interference with something in Power BI and may need to be disabled.
