Refresh of dataset using direct query to two other datasets does not work

Hi,

I have 4 datasets A, B, C and D.

A has it's own queries and a dq to C

B is standalone.

D has two direct queries to A and B.

When D refreshes in the Service, it does not pull through the changes/updates that occur in A from scheduled refresh/changes made inndesktop and republished.

I am required to open D in Desktop and manually refresh.

My understanding is this should not be the case, is that so?

Or have I made in error in how I have put my 'pipeline' together?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Hi @pfInigo

Did you set credentials in dataset settings ?

I also have this problem.

I have 3 datasets: A, B and C.

Dataset A and B are direct query to my Snowflake database.

Dataset C has direct query to dataset A and B.

When I publish changes to datasets A or B, dataset C does not get the updates from A or B when refreshing the dataset in power BI services.

How can I update dataset C without having to refresh it in Desktop?

My workspace is a Power BI embedded capacity.
