I am learning Power BI Desktop with Udemy and use their demo example on my PC. Everytime there is a change, it is super slow. Preview download is running all the time from the step 1. I have ticked and unticked everything recommended, such as disabling Allow Data Preview To Download to no avail! On Udemy video it is fast. I gave the same demo examples to our IT team to run on their PCs. They experience the same slowness. The file is only 8MB. Please help! Why is preview keeping running despite it's been disabled? What is the maximum size of PBI Desktop files recommended? The reason that we get on to PBI is that Excel can't handle 50MB or 150MB vast data files any more.
