Power BI Desktop Live Streaming - Counting issue

I am using Power Bi Streaming, to collect data from a Python script that I wrote.

When you create a report, and view the data in a chart, everything looks fine.

But when you want to do any graph that requires the counting the number of fields, the value is off by a 100, for each count.

Data looks like this, in a chart graph.

Area 3 11/27/17 11:24:51am 1.00 10.122.123.12 -64

Area 3 11/27/17 11:25:41am 1.00 10.122.123.12 -64

Area 3 11/27/17 11:30:41am 0 10.122.12.14 -54

So if I do a bar graph of this data, using count..... lets say i did a count of the column with the 1 and 0's.

The count of the data with 1 would be 200, instead of 2 entries

Any Ideas, starting to think i found a bug with data streaming.

Thanks

Hi @plthomas,

I can't reproduce it.

1. Did you create a stream dataset in the Service and connect it from the Desktop?

2. Did you check the number of records? In other words, were there 200 records of 1?

3. How can I reproduce it?

Best Regards,

Dale

Thansk so much for the reply.

I did not use the Desktop in this case, I did everything directly from the portal Page.

Set up the Data Set.

Here is a look at the stream set up.

The data is being sent from the Python Script.

Everything looks perfect.

But when you do any counting in any colum, it counts each entry as 100 instead of 1.

You notice that the count nearly 200,000 entries.  in reality, their is only 1,878 entries at the time.

I have tried different graphs and filters, but the same results.

Very odd
