Help with Query through ODBC/Hive

Hi,

I am getting this error while connecting to HIVE using HDInsight Spark. Please help me figuring out what is going wrong.

 

 

ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][ThriftExtension] (4) Error occurred while contacting server: SSL_read: error code: 0. The connection has been configured to not use SASL for authentication. This error might be due to the server has been configured to use SASL for authentication.

Hi @magnus_mercury,

 

Please update your Power BI desktop to the latest version 2.62.5222.761 then test again. If issue persists, I would suggest you create a support ticket to get dedicated support.
