Dataflows not finishing refreshing

As of yesterday, dataflows that normally finish refreshing in 5 minutes or less are taking hours.  In the logs, the duration of each table refresh looks normal & acceptable, but the wait times have skyrocketed.  Data sources here include sharepoint excel files and azure sql.  We're on premium embedded capacity, and the performance of the capacity appears to be within normal limits.

Status: Delivered

Dear customer,

Per our understanding you are experiencing long running or occasional failures in your dataflows.

The cause of this issue is due to a known intermittent issue in Premium Gen2 workloads, including dataflows.

The current workaround for GEN2 premium users is to change the workspace license type to PRO, wait a couple of minutes and switch back to Premium.

If the problem keeps occurring, we suggest following best practices for scheduling and logic distribution on the Microsoft docs site to reduce the occurrence of your issue.

We are currently evaluating paths to reduce and mitigate the occurrences of the issue and currently targeting Q2 2022 for public availability.

Further communication about timelines will be shared when we are closer to release.
