Hi @mgsalinero

Please open the report in Power BI desktop optimized for report server, do the same filter, check if the same issue happens.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft

Thanks for your fast answer.

I've doing some tests.

First of all, I created a new report with some dummy data using PBI Desktop May 2019 for PBIServer.

In PowerBI Desktop never fails and never do something wrong, I mean, its ok. But, when I upload the new report in PBI Server, still failing.

These are some of the test I was doing (conclussions bellow):

Test 1:

- Only 1 page without visuals

- 1 page filter

--> Passed

Test 2:

- Only 1 page with visuals

- 1 page filer

--> Passed

Test 3:

- 2 pages with visuals

- 1 page filter

--> Passed

Test 4:

- 2 pages with visuals

- 1 report filter and 1 page filter

--> Passed

Test 5:

- 2 page with visuals

- 2 page filters

--> Fails

Test 6:

- 1 page without visuals

- 2 page filters

--> Fails

Firsrt, I thought that the problem could be that the old reports are not compatible with PBI Server may 2019. Later, I was trying to check if some custom visual might be the problem.

At the end, It looks that the relationship between page or report filters cause a crash or something like that.

And with PBI Desktop works fine:

Hi @mgsalinero ,

Thank you for your detail steps. I created a report with 2 report pages and 2 columns in second page Page Level Filters pane, when I click fast to select values for ProductKey in filter pane, the pie chart is able to display fine. I tested both in Chrome and IE 11 browser but not able to reproduce the issue.

Please test our sample report on your side to see if the same issue occurs.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft,

thank you very much for your help.

I've upload the sample report.

When I tryed to change the ProductKey filter the issue was gone. This is the example:

I was happy because this means that the problem should be anything with our reports

However, I changed the ProductSubcategoryFilter to basic filter and.... 😞

Do you known any way to get more information (like log or javascript log in debug level or something like that)?

In the server log I didnt see any exception.

Thanks for your help.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft ,

Sorry, I have no more clues.

You can't reproduce the issue, isn't it?

Maybe something wrong in our PBI Report Server installation?

Best regards
Thanks
