BUG: Constant Line in PBI Service

Starting on December 7th, 2020, there is a bug affecting constant lines on the PBI Service. Visuals on reports will now completely ignore constant lines. Additionally, you will not be able to edit a report and add a constant line on the service.

This is breaking the functionality of most of my reports.

To replicate this issue:

Create a report with a line chart

Add a constant line

Upload the report to a workspace

View the report on the workspace and note the missing constant line

Edit the report in the workspace

Attempt to add a constant line to the line chart visual

Note that you will not be able to add a constant line

Hi @avtle ,

Based on your description, have replicated it in my environment but seems had something different:

1.When I publish a report with constant line in the line chart to power bi service, the constant line can be seen normally in my environment, so this step could noe be reproduced. About this step similar issue has been submitted before: ICM 217698816

2. Cannot add new constant line for the line chart in power bi service, this step can be reproduced and have submitted it to check.

Thank you for looking into this. 

In your first point, can you please set your constant line to 0?

Then try reuploading it to the server. This should replicate the issue.

I think the issue is when the constant line would affect the min or max of the y axis.

1. About the first step as you mentioned, can replicate this issue and the PG will provide the fix date

This issue seems has been fixed now, based on my test, now power bi service can show the 0 value constant line and add new constant line in the chart.

Please test and check it again.
