Inability to pin reports from other teams hinders colaboration

A dashboard that is shared with you is completely useless unless you are an  owner of that dataset. You can't pin those tiles to other dashboards,  you can't connect it to any of your data. 

You can download the file, export the results to excel and then upload that dashboard and connect it to your data, so this issue is not about security. You have access to that data. You just can't incorporate that data into your model in a meaningful way.  This means that individual silos are hindered from colaborating in PowerBI. If teams want to share data between PowerBI files then they will have to share access to the backend resources such as SQL.

We can't pin tiles from shared reports. Please vote on following ideas.

As a alternative, you can get data from content pack, then make a copy and pin tiles to your own dashboard from the copied one.
