Hi,

My end users have the below warning when trying to display my report.

Any idea how to resolve it? Thank you

FYI:

Data sources for the report - Sharepoint lists and PBI dataset.

Access to the report = Read, No access to Sharepoint spaces, Access to PBI dataset (Direct Query) = Read, Share, Build

Hi @Anonymous ,

The end users need the at least the read access to the initial PBI datasets report, not only have access to the datasets.

If only have the access to the PBI dataset, when you create a new report with this dataset under Direct Query mode, they could not see the contents in the report if you share this new report with them.

Hi @v-yingjl ,

I appreciate your support.

I've checked my end users' access once again, and the summary is:

They have Read, Reshare, Build access to the initial PBI report and dataset

They have Read access to the new report and dataset, where I use the initial PBI dataset with DirectQuery mode.

But they still get the same error message.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try to check whether this report has been configured credentials correctly and you can see the contents in it normally.

Hi @v-yingjl ,

Thank you for the advice.

I checked the Data source credentials, for me, it's looking good:

Do I need to grant access to end-users to the Sharepoint space itself, where the initial PBI dataset/report is posted?
