Timeline Slicer Force Selection FY Starting July Selects NEXT FY

When the granularity is set to Year and Force Selection to Current Period is selected, the FY selected seems to be ignoring the fiscal year start.  For example, if the FY is set to start July and is it currently June 2023, it will select 2024 as the FY even though FY2024 will only start in July.

Is there any way around this?

I'm not quite clear how to reproduce your problem, would you like to clarify how to set the "granularity is set to Year and Force Selection to Current Period is selected"?
