Something went wrong: An error occurred when rendering the report

Posisbly with Feb 2024 update, I cannot cleanly open .pbix file. I have to open PBI Desktop separately, then open my .pbix from there to get it to open at all. I cannot right click on any table names or I get a rendering error. Visuals work, I can use Transform Data, but the Refresh button is greyed out and my table diagram is not showing. I can go to Table View, but cannot click the header buttons. VERY frustrating that my model worked one day and the next day it didn't. It all seems related to rendering something, but I can't figure out what. I am not using any custom visuals. I have several tabs, it would be difficult to delete each one by one to see if the trouble is related to one of them.

Status: Investigating

Hi @mizark ,

During my investigating, a potential solution is to close all instances of Power BI Desktop, navigate to the folder <system drive>:\\Users\\<user>\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Power BI Desktop\\CEF\\cache, and delete all contents of this folder.

Thanks, I saw that solution a few places and it didn't work. I don't even have a CEF\\cache file, so I asked IT to look into it for me.
