Hi all,
I'm working to query QBO data and reciving the errors below when attempting to login.
Choosing yes or no on each error message has no bearing on the outcome. So far in order to trouble shoot this I've:
I'm running out of ideas of what else to troubleshoot and all sugestions are welcome, Thanks!
I set up Stitch to connect in to QBO and it's working really well so far. I ended up with the same set of tables. I haven't started moving the PQ queries to point to the new source yet though. Doesn't look like it will be that difficult though.
I set Stitch up to replicate the QBO database every 30 minutes into our Amazon RDS Postgres database. I have no idea what all was involved on the Postgres side - our engineering team handled that. Since we already had an integration with another source set up it only took them a few minutes to get me up and running. Not sure how hard it would have been otherwise. Stitch seems to have things pretty well automated though.
One thing I ran into was fixing a weird certificate issue with AWS. Wasn't too bad to fix once I found this article: https://saurabha.com/connecting-power-bi-to-aws-rds-postgresql/
Good luck! Can't believe there's still not ETA for a fix! $100/mo to Stitch will end up being money well spent though.
Were you able to connect your Customer table to Journal Entries, Deposits, Purchases etc once you moved the data into Power BI?
I found that the connection between Customer and those other Tables worked with the Power BI connector, but have not found it yet using Stitch. I messaged their support team, but am awaiting a reply. Any thoughts?
Sooo...over two weeks and no update. So am I to take that as my reports won't be useful until March of 2021?
Received an update from my Microsoft support case that there is still not ETA for a resolution.
Doesn't feel like it is being worked on...disappointing but thanks for the update
Yes, hopefully they find a work around pretty soon. This is pretty disappointing, and my reporting is completly dependant as well.
Update as of 9/17/2020:
Met with Microsoft support and they've documented the issue with error logs and fiddler traces.
The issue has be escalated with the product team and I'm awaiting to hear next steps.
Other troubleshooting steps taken with no effect:
I am getting the same error when trying to connect to quickbooks online. I've performed the same troubleshooting steps with no luck.
Not a solution, but maybe why we're having an issue. Looks like intuit is not supporting IE or Edge as embedded browers.
Found these two posts.

Any updates? I'm having the same issues
@GreyDuck What connector are you using and what authentication type?
Hi @Greg_Deckler,
I'm using the default connector found in the get data menu.
I belive the authentication type is Oauth 2.
@GreyDuck You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.

Hello...any update here? Is there a resolution on the way? I am getting the same issue.
There is an update as of today. If you follow the instructions on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/quickbooksonline and are using the default QBO connector, this works. If you are using the legacy Quickbooks.Tables() connector like I was, I wrote up a post describing how to get that working too: http://www.decodeanalytics.com/blog/connecting-quickbooks-online-to-power-bi-desktop/
