In this article, the dashboard shows a name in bold on the left above the Q&A. In my PowerBI Pro service, that space is blank. How do I get the name of the dashboard to appear here?
Hi @winecountryrach,
That article was created a long time ago and the way it shows has changed.
I would suggest that you put in a Text Box at the top of your dashboard?
That is what I have done, and then linked that Text Box to my underlying reports.
That's a good suggestion, though it doesn't work for me for two reasons: 1) an added text box is too big. There is no format that is vertically thin enough to really look like a title, 2) the bar of white space over the dashboard is ugly and with only two icons on the far right, it's a waste of space. If we're sure the PowerBI team has made that intentionally empty, I would like to submit a feature request to remove that area.
I submitted a suggestion on this topic - please vote if you agree:
