I want to share my report via an email link - does the URL work for a recipient without a BI account?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The recipient will receive the email but should be prompted to sign up for Power BI if they don't already have an account when they click on the link.

Hi @robertaw,
Another method is to generate a link of Power BI report by using “Publish to web” feature, you can share the report by sending this link in email. This way, users don’t have to have a Power BI account.
However, please note that when you use Publish to web, the report or visual you publish can be viewed by anyone on the Internet. There is no authentication used when viewing these reports. Before publishing this report, ensure you have the right to share the data and visualizations publicly.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
