abfss path to connect to ADLS Gen2 shortcut from Microsoft Fabric lakehouse is failing

Hi,

I am trying to connect to ADLS Gen2 shortcut from Fabric Lakehouse. I have the input ADLS Gen2 storage connection in this format,by giving the same format, Fabric thrown me an error saying invalid formation or URI, I tried changing the connection to https format and this I got a different error as below. I have added a subnet for storage but the error did not go, can you help me with it? Do we really need a vnet subet to connect to ADLS Gen2 as shortcut? If Yes, is the url format should be with https? Could you please help me?

Your error is: "Connection could not be created. This may mean it is not accessible from this network or at this URI, or that a gateway is required to access this data source."

This means your URL is incorrect, or you can try configuring a gateway.

Ensure that the URL used to connect to ADLS Gen2 from Fabric Lakehouse is correctly formatted as an HTTPS URL, like https://StorageAccountName.dfs.core.windows.net/Filesystem.
