Selections and bookmarks working on PBI desktop but not on PBI service

Hi,

I created a report on Power BI desktop that consist of a single page and several different views represented using bookmarks. I am using a single page in order to be able to mantain the selections I make in one view to be held if I switch to a different view (bookmark). I was able to achieve this in Power BI desktop and it works perfectly. My problem is that when I publsh the report to Power BI service the capability of mantaining the selected data in the different bookmarks is gone. So my question is why does it work with no problem in Power BI desktop and not when I publish to Power BI service?  If you have any input on how to mantain selections in the different views that will work on Power BI service please share.

Thanks

Hi there, when you configured the bookmark, did you allow for the data to be synced or enabled when right clicking on the ellipses in the bookmark?

In my bookmarks the "Data" option is unchecked and I am using interactions between all my visuals. As I mentioned before It works flawlessly on Power BI desktop but not on Power BI service

Hi there

I would suggest checking that the same settings that you have in Power BI Desktop are enabled once uploaded to the Power BI Service?

I did check on the setting, just double check on them after your comment and the bookmarks options in PBI service are identical to the ones in PBI desktop.

Thanks for helping me out

Happy to assist.
