Request for more info on caching mechanism.

PBI caches information. Is this only for information on the dashboard tiles? As far as I can see during an "enduser report session" data which is retrieved once is faster retrieved a second time. This looks to me as caching behaviour. Also, our datasets (around 300) are being refreshed (by default) once in a hour. But the data in our models is only refreshed once a day. Keeping a PBI dataset refresh interval of an hour does not seem very effective an might cause performance issues on SSAS backend. Is there more info on caching in PBI available?

Kind regards,

Detlev
