Hi,
Yes I have the on premise gateway installed and configured.
The problem was I didnt really know how to acces the information from bi desktop. I have other gateways installed in a local server that allow me to access information directly.

I finally came across two solutions. If anyone with the same problems here you go:
- Dataflow in web service. You create the dataflow in web and access it from power bi desktop
- Server alias. Assign your local server a nickname so it has the same nickname as the server name you are insterested on. Attack it from power bi desktop and once you have uploaded the report, refresh it on web service.

Hi @AntonioHR ,

On-premises data gateways act as bridges between on-premises data sources and cloud services, it provides quick and secure data transfer between on-premises data, which is data that isn't in the cloud, and several Microsoft clouds services.

Your workaround is to use Power BI Desktop to connect to the dataflow or dataset in the service, which contains the information of the data source, you can also use the credentials to connect to the data source through the gateway to get the latest data. This allows you to get data indirectly from the data source.

You can mark your own method as an answer to help more people find it quickly

Please refer to these documents, hope it helps.
