Hi,
I had a couple of reports and dashboards published to my Power BI cloud account in different workspaces with Power BI Pro (trial period).
I wanted to purchase the license, hence I had to create an 0365 login with the domain looking like @companyname.onmicrosoft.com instead of @companyname.com.
I logged in to the portal (as an admin) and added my company domain (@companyname.com) to the domain list by verifying that I am the owner of the same.
I purchased the Power BI pro license and assigned it to the my account on which the reports and dashboards were published.
But when I logged in to Power BI service, I found that my account was blank. None of the workspaces are showing up and neither are any of the reports/dashboards that had been published, including the ones published to "My Workspace".
Is this supposed to happen?
Was the license assigned to the same username that you used for the trial? I.e. are you logging in with the same username and password?
My guess is that you are logging in with a different username, so the Power BI service thinks you are a distinctly different user. This would explain your empty my workspace, as its a different one entirally. It would also explain why you can't see the workspaces, as this other version of you hasn't had their access granted to those groups.
