I would like to create a report, to be shared with my suppliers, in order to allow them to check their performance
Below there is an example of the sales table, supplier and products.
Product | Supplier | Sales $ |
Product A | Supplier 1 | 30 |
Product B | Supplier 1 | 20 |
Product C | Supplier 1 | 50 |
Product A | Supplier 2 | 10 |
Product B | Supplier 2 | 0 |
Product C | Supplier 2 | 100 |
Product A | Supplier 3 | 30 |
Product B | Supplier 3 | 60 |
Product C | Supplier 3 | 50 |
Using the roles features, I would like to show them some KPIs like:
Supplier Sales vs Total Sales (ie.: Supplier 1 : 100 vs 350)
Supplier Sales for specific product vs total sales of the specific product (ie.: Supplier Product A: 30 vs 70)
That's clear that each supplier has to see its own numbers vs the total without any information of which is/are the competitor/s.
I tried some formulas but using a role filter, everything is related only on the supplier.
thanks
regards
Fabio
Hi @FabioMax_P,
I'm afraid this requirement cannot be achieved.
If we apply RLS on [Supplier] column, each supplier only has access to its own data records. For example, supplier1 can view the first three rows, when a user view report within this role, the dataset has filtered out the rest rows for him. In that case, to calculate the total sales of Product A, this role has no access to those Product A sales belong to Supplier2 and Supplier3.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
