Gateway service does not start automatically when server restarts

we have a on premise enetrprse gateway installed on a server which often goes down. And when it restarts, the gateway service does not start automatically even though it is set to Automatic. We have lot of datasets that are failing because of this.

1 How do we make that service to start automatically?

2. Can we refresh all those failed datasets manually at one time? right now only dataset owner gets notified thru email for each dataset refresh failure and we need to go thru each email to know that which dataset failed and refresh them one by one,

Hi there

I have not had any issues after a restart of the Gateway.

1. I would suggest installing the Gateway on a Server that does not go down at all.
This will solve issue number to.

Here is my blog post where I explain how to send the failure email to multiple people: https://www.fourmoo.com/2018/12/04/power-bi-how-to-configure-send-refresh-failure-notification-email...
