(After adding a lokal model)

2022-02-23_14h05_54.png

Steps:
1. connect to my dataset
2. click on "Transform Data"
3. A local model will be created
4. Error message appears

I'm using Oracle 19c 32 + 64 bit-Version.

Does anyone have an idea to solve this?

Hi @FZM9NU1 ,

You can check the supported version information of power bi connection to Oracle.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-connect-oracle-database

If this error just happens on Power BI Desktop:

First check if your server and database name is correct. Also check if your server has access to that database.

If it happens on Power BI Service, please refer to:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Report-couldn-t-access-data-source-in-Direct-Query-mode/td-...

This is the related document, you can view this content:

https://power-bi.in/index.php?qa=38&qa_1=getting-error-couldnt-connect-directquery-source-internal

Best Regards,

Liu Yang
