Trying to create a live production board

Hello,

I am VERY new to BI, but what I want to accomplish seems pretty basic. I support 4 plants. I would like to create 4 production displays that show bar charts with the hours production numbers on them. I'm having some luck with report server, but its a little slow on refreshes and I would like to get more than 4 per hour. What would be my best approach? All of my data is on premises of the 4 plants and is coming from SQL. Seems like using a single instance of report server installed locally would lag when refreshing to the remote locations. any advise would be GREATLY appreciate.

Thanks,

Scott

So, each plant has their own instance of SQL or is it already centralized somewhere? What kind of network pipes do you have to the plants? Are you at a fifth location or one of the plants?
