Hi,
is it possible to use a drill down hierarchy (like you can do with a matrix) but in a table? I need to put a hierarchy on values and drilldown that values
Thank you
Giada
Solved! Go to Solution.
You could get it in matrix visual as below:
then do conditional format for one field in values.

@Giada_Togliatti To the best of my knowledge that is not supported on a table visualization although you can do drill through with a table. Slightly different. Also table visualizations support filtering to other table visualizations so that is another way to go.
Curious, why does a matrix visualization not meet your needs?
Hi,
thank you,
I can't use a matrix because I need to use more column and I should use conditional formatting on only one column
hi,
in attached a sample data
Employee | Division | Budget | January | february | march | april |
Giada | it | 105 | 43 | 65 | 56 | 53 |
Sara | marketing | 34 | 56 | 45 | 54 | 53 |
Elisa | it | 45 | 35 | 76 | 45 | 55 |
I can't do pivot between months, I should have a herarchy betweeh employee and division on rows and I should have on column
budget, january, february, march and april and I should apply conditional formatting only on one column, any ideas?
Thank you

@v-lili6-msft thank you, but in real data there are more and strange values and it's not so easy and in that way I've already tried and It doesn't work.
It doesn't matter, thank you for support
Giada
@Giada_Togliatti - Perhaps we should back up and you present a sample of your data and what you are trying to accomplish. There are a lot of folks with a lot of experience and there may be a different way to solve your issue.
For example, you do not have to use the Columns feature of a matrix but just place multiple columns in the Values area.

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
@Giada_Togliatti , I doubt you can do that on table, Matrix and few other visual support that. You can check some custom visual
