drilldown hierarchy in a table (no matrix)

Hi,

is it possible to use a drill down hierarchy (like you can do with a matrix) but in a table? I need to put a hierarchy on values and drilldown that values

Thank you

Giada

hi  @Giada_Togliatti

You could get it in matrix visual as below:

3.JPG

then do conditional format for one field in values.

@Giada_Togliatti To the best of my knowledge that is not supported on a table visualization although you can do drill through with a table. Slightly different. Also table visualizations support filtering to other table visualizations so that is another way to go.

Curious, why does a matrix visualization not meet your needs?

@v-lili6-msft thank you, but in real data there are more and strange values and it's not so easy and in that way I've already tried and It doesn't work.

It doesn't matter, thank you for support

Giada

@Giada_Togliatti - Perhaps we should back up and you present a sample of your data and what you are trying to accomplish. There are a lot of folks with a lot of experience and there may be a different way to solve your issue.

For example, you do not have to use the Columns feature of a matrix but just place multiple columns in the Values area.

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.

@Giada_Togliatti , I doubt you can do that on table, Matrix and few other visual support that. You can check some custom visual
