Why drill through option is not available on power bi?

Hello all,

I wanted to have a simple drill through on one of my power vi visual to the details page however I am not seeing the page type 'Drill through' in the power bi desktop. Am I missing something?

Hi @pthapa

@sergej_og , thanks for your reply. Please allow me to provide another insight:

I created two pages and drill through page1 to page 2, here is my test procedure.

Page1:

Page2:

vxuxinyimsft_2-1713249423352.png

Place the fields you want to drill through into Page2 as shown here. This field needs to be a field used in Page1.

Result:

According to my test, if you turn on the following options, then the Page type option appears.

For more detailed information on On-object interaction, you can refer to the following documentation:

Use on-object interaction with visuals in your report (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

you have created a page to which you would like drill trough?
And you are not able to declare this site as Drilltrough?

sergej_og_0-1713216673989.png

don`t select any visuals. click in an empty space on your canvas and try to declare as Drilltrough.
