I would like to use a waterfall chart to visualize budget vs. actual variances by category. I need to start with the Budget amount, walk across my variances, and end with my Actual amount. I have been unable to find a solution for this without having to pay for a license for a custom viz. Also, my Budget/Actual bars need to be the same color. Any ideas?

Thanks, Miguel. I actually found a free waterfall visual on BI AppSource that allows me to do what I need.
Hi @Anonymous ,
This depends on your model, you cannot make the two bar with the same colour. I have made some trials with making a custom waterfall chart using a bar chart. If you need I can try and help you to achieve this but would be great to have a mockupdata.

Hi,
What was the free visual that you used for this?
Simple Waterfall in Power BI Appsource...I put my actual and budget measures in the values field to give me a beginning and ending balance.
