Select Date Slicer Type Missing?

Hello everyone,

I'm not sure if I've just never noticed before but when you publish a report with a date slicer and the header is on, are you not allowed to choose the type of slicer you want in the published Power BI report in the Power BI web service?

Here's the slicer on Desktop:

Here is the slicer in the Power BI servce:

Hi @nadams2

Currently end users of a report are unable to change the slicer type. Only users that have edit permisson of the report can change the slicer type after they click Edit and enter the Editing mode. You can vote up the similar idea: Allow Users to Change Date Slicer Type

Or you can try the solution introduced in this blog: Give users the ability to change a slicer on a published report

Hi @nadams2 , yes the slicer type is unable to be changed when interacting with the report in the Service, unless you go into edit mode in the Service. If you want the end user to be able to select the type of slicer you could add buttons to show/hide slicer types based on the users selection.
