SUMX over table and subtracting value from category

Hello,

I have the following measure to count the total lines shipped that have been flagged as hit:

MTD Hits = CALCULATE(COUNTA(DeliveryPerformance[Line Key]), DeliveryPerformance[Hit] = TRUE(), DeliveryPerformance[Partial Identifier]="Counted")

This returns the following table

However, I need to remove a calulcated value from the REPAIRS segment.  When using this fx...

RemovedWithOTDHits = IF(MAX(DeliveryPerformance[Segment]) = "REPAIR", DeliveryPerformance[MTD Hits] - DeliveryPerformance[MROHitVar], DeliveryPerformance[MTD Hits])

....the Total Value remains the same at 79.

I've tried to SUMX with the above measure as the expression but get 0 for REPAIRS.  Any guidance on how to remove a value from a total?

HI @bobbyaalexander

Can you please try the following?

RemovedWithOTDHits =
   SUMX(
      VALUES(DeliveryPerformance[Segment]),
      IF(DeliveryPerformance[Segment]="REPAIR",CALCULATE([MTD Hits]) - CALCULATE([MROHHitVar]),CALCULATE([MTD Hits]))
   )

Best regards

Michael

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376
