Print total visual with scrollbar to pdf

Hello,

I have a visual table or matrix which is  larger then the screen. Within power bi i can scroll down and see is. When i export the viual to pdf I only get the beginning in the pdf. Not the part which i see when i scroll down.

Is there a  possibility to export the entire table/matrix to pdf?

Hi @mhutterd ,

The 'Export to PDF' option in Power BI Desktop is currently just like taking a screen capture of each report.

For reference: Export to pdf

Visuals with scrollbars are exported in their default state. The visual will display all possible rows, starting with the first row. Even if you have the visual scrolled down, when exported, the visual will display unscrolled.

To export all rows of the matrix, it is poosible to use "export data" for the matrix visual, but it is limited for Export Data feature is used for exporting data without keeping visual format in .CSV file currently.

Here is an idea you could vote for it to improve this feature.

Export to PDF needs to include all rows in a Table or Matrix visualization

Or you may try the workarounds in this post: Export complete visual to PDF

Thanks for your answer. Do you know if there is another way to print it directly to PDF?

@mhutterd

It exports as it is shown on the canvas. You can export as Excel then do the correct print layout then save or print as PDF
