Hello PBI professionnals,
I encountered a problem today, and can't find any way to fix it :
I have 2 tables of data, 1 show mobility and the other a value. Here are the 2 graphs from these 2 different tables :
I am using different slicers on those two raphs. But my slicers only work on the second one unfortunately :
Both tables also have a "zone" column, with zones going from 1 to 5, a day column from monday to sunday and a date column.
I made a link between the date columns from my 2 tables, so the time slicer is working fine. However, I have trouble with the two remaining slicers on columns "zones" and "days". They only affect the second chart...
Any idea how to solve this problem please ?
Antoine

Finally cracked it !
I created a "Filter" column in both tables, concatenating all 3 values (time, zone and weekday).
moved the relation between tables from the "time" columns to "filter" columns.
So far, it seems to be working... 🙂
Hi @Anonymous ,
Select either of the other 2 slicers, then go to menu bar>"format">click "edit interaction":
Check whether the 2 graphs are showing "filter",if showing "none",modify to "filter".
If the above doesnt work, could you pls upload your .pbix file to onedrive business and share the link with us?
Hello @v-kelly-msft ,
Here is the file : https://we.tl/t-tsbkLwWmXT
The problem is, data is coming from 2 different tables, that have the same column names. I do not know how to apply multiple filters (I already linked Time adding a relation, I can't do multiple relation with zone and day columns...)
Thanks for your help !
Regards,
Antoine
Hi @Anonymous ,
Sorry but it cant be opened, can you upload it to onedrive business and share the link with us?

Hi @Anonymous ,
After modifying the interaction between slicers and graphs which I suggested in last reply. now all the slicers work,as you see below:
Here is your .pbix file,I have modied it.
Here is the reference about editing the interaction.

I just crossed-checked using a table chart. The values displayed are the values in the table using the time filter only.
Zone and Weekday filters are unfortunately not applied the the table...
I have been struggling with this for quite a bit and can't find any way to solve that for now.
I also tried to create a separated "zone" table to filter with, but can't link it to both tables because there is already a time link activated.
Hope to find a solution... 🙂

Antoine

Thanks @v-kelly-msft ,
Maybe the problem does not come from the filters, but values are different on the chart and in the table, here is the example of value on the 20th at 2.15 pm, filters on zone 5 and on monday : chart 22.18 versus table 32.21. I assumed the filters were not applied correctly ?
