Hello, I am trying to hide the subtotal for the FY2019 values - as it is a repeat of itself, but I still need a subtotal for FY2020.
Note - I need to keep FY2019 as a one column value, but FY2020 needs to be split into Quarters which I achieved with an IF.
Thanks

Hi @Hermarian ,
Based on my testing, it is impossible to hide subtotal for particular total value.
Please try the following methods as workaround:
1.Create the sample table.
2.Select the column subtotals. Turn on Per column level and select column level. Turn off the show subtotals.
3.The result is shown below.
Besides, you can also create the measure to filter.
total =
VAR SAL_ = SUMX(FILTER(ALLSELECTED('Table'),[Year] = MAX('Table'[Year]) && [Region] = MAX('Table'[Region])), [Sales Amount])
VAR SELE = SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Year])
RETURN
IF(SELE = "FY2020", SAL_, BLANK())
Turn off the column subtotals and drag the measure into the Values.
You can also raise a new idea and add the comments there to make the drill through feature that maintain the previously selected row coming sooner.
Best Regards,
Wisdom Wu

@Hermarian Not sure what your measure is but you may be able to achieve this by using HASONEVALUE and MAX of year and if the right criteria, return BLANK. Hard to be more specific with the information provided. Or, turn on word wrap and shrink the Total column until it disappears.

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376
