How to enter new measure for compute YTD ?

Hi All

 

After i have enter the new meansure , may i know how to see the result ?

You will have to add the measure to a visual  like matrix or table as i have shown

Just Click on Create Measure . Type below Formula you will able to get YTD value for amount.


YTD =
Var DateYTD = Calculate([Amount],DATESYTD(<dates>)
Return
 DateYTD

Note : you will not able see Measure as a column .but you can able to get value .when will you drag that meaure in to a visual or matrix or card .

You can not see calculated measure at data view tab. If you wanna see this so take one table visual then drag Date, AMount and your calculated measure. SO you'll see the measure values.
