Help with text limit

Hello,

I am connecting to a Salesforce Report to show survey submissions.

When I bring in the fields to Power BI there is some text being cut off with a "..." at the end. I know I am no where near the limit. How can I fix this? I've made the table as big as I could and I am still getting this issue.

Not an expert with this tool so please suggest anything.

Thanks.

Hi,

which Visual do you use ?

Do you connect direct via Power BI Desktop or with a dataflow ?

The table visual.

Yes using Power BI Desktop.

Hi, the maximal text length is a 32766 character limit on text being loaded into Power.

Hi @monguso13 ,

What is the exact length of that value which was truncated? Can you go to PowerQuery and try to check it from there?

Here is a good article by Chris Webb about text length in PowerQuery and DAX. Maybe it will make text limits more clear for you.
