Hi I have two quick queries using the built in Maps
I am based in NZ and Bing often thinks that the address is in USA. Our address field often includes a post code, but can I direct the report to always look in NZ?
More importantly. I am sharing my report to my organisation using MS Teams. The maps do not seem to work in that portal. Is there a work around to make the Teams report work with the map?

Hi @Pmorg73
For the first issue, always add the country name "New Zealand" to the location column.
Also define the appropriate data category, under modeling menu item.
Cheers!

Thanks. I will get funny looks from the admins if I ask them to add NZ to all the addresses. And alas only 98% of the jobs are in NZ, but yeah I could just do a column with all NZ entered. Might try that for the majority.
I have made the category "address" already.
Hi @Pmorg73
You can add it as a custom value. Users/Admins do not need to change their work.
Had a similar issue in Australia and that solved it all.
Cheers!

Could you expand? Where would I put the Custom Value?
I added a "measure" column to my table that entered Location New Zealand for every entry. Blue cross in image. I then added it to the field list for the map. But as you can see it is not making the addresses move from across the globe?
If I individually google the address then it finds most of them where I would expect, but the Bing map is not looking locally to us in NZ.
Hey @Pmorg73
Not sure why you have created a measure.
I have created a column that looks like:
Full Address = CONCATENATE ( Table[Address], CONCATENATE ( ", ", CONCATENATE ( Table[City], CONCATENATE ( ", ", CONCATENATE ( Table[State], CONCATENATE ( ", ", Table[Country] ) ) ) ) ) )
You can create something similar, maybe simpler.
And in the country just hard code NZ.
Or give a sample of your data, and we'll try to sort this issue out.
Cheers!

thanks for helping.
I added a concantenate measure so address plus " New Zealand"
Is it me or is Bing is useless? See the image. The Location clearly says what I want. Address plus NZ. But Bing puts in near Copenhagen? If you google the address. Perfect Map.
Suggestions?
Hey @Pmorg73
Are you using the correct field?
Looks like you are using Job Info while you need First Location.
Cheers!

yes the map is only looking at "Location" field. In the image I had selected a table just to cross check the measure was adding the address correctly.
If I google that address I get a map straight away on the correct street. I then went to Edge and used Bing and it does not load any maps.
As I am sharing this report in MS Teams I find the map does not work at all in there anyway. Do you know if it should work in Teams?
I know that the ArcGIS map type only works in the BI desktop environment so does not work in Teams, so not an option.
So I am concluding that my map may be something to remove from the report?
