I want to perform join between two tables:
ID | Description | Actual | ID | Category | ID | Description | Category | Actual | ||
1 | AA | 10 | 1 | a | 1 | AA | a | 10 | ||
2 | BB | 20 | 2 | b | 2 | BB | b | 20 | ||
3 | CC | 30 | 3 | c | 3 | CC | c | 30 | ||
4 | DD | 40 | 4 | d | 4 | DD | d | 40 | ||
Table 1 | Table 2 | Result Table |
IF Table1. ID= Table2.ID then populate the Category column from Table 2 in Table 1.
Any help will be appreciated

Are you trying to do this in DAX or M? In M you should be able to do a simple Merge query and then just get rid of the columns that you don't want (like the Table 1 Category column).
