I have created a report in PowerBI Desktop using SSAS tabular model, i'm connecting live. Everthing looks good in the desktop version. all of the graphs are rendering proprely.
However, upon publishing the report to the web, I get that "there was a data source access error. please contact Gateawy admin" error. There is a gateway on that spcific server. Also, a data source connection on that gateway has been setup with that specifc SSAS data source, it shows that it has connected successfully.
I'm an authorized user for that Gateway.
I cannot find a way to fix it.
Any help would be appreciated.
If you have a Pro license, open a support ticket, that's a tough one to troubleshoot.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
@Greg_Deckler I'm a pro user, i'm unable to create a support ticket, some required fields such as "Problem Type" and "Category" are blank and I can't choose anything...when i try to submit it says i have to provide those.
Very very frustrating.
