Visual has exceeded the available resources but app is only 37 MB

I have a visual table in my app that has 40 columns and about 85k rows. I sometimes run into the error that the visual has exceeded the available resources. When I output the data to excel it is about 17 MB. I wouldn't think this would cause such an issue. Does anyone know why the Power BI service is having issues displaying the data? There are no issues on my desktop.
