Hey,
I wonder if can one can help. I have create a dataset that I want to share with individuals so that they can create their own reports on PowerBI Service. I am under the impression that to do this I will need to share it in a Content Pack.
To test I have published the dataset from PBI desktop onto my own Workspace on PBI service, I have then created a new content pack and given access to bidept group (who's Workspace is set to "Members can edit content) when I click go on this, I get a notification that is has been sucessful.
When I go into the Data set in my workspace I can see that the BIdept group now has permission to access this data set.
However, when I go into the BIdept workspace and then get data > My organization the content pact with the data set is not avalible to be selected.
Does anyone have any idea to how I am going wrong?
Thanks!
Polly

I've switched web browers and it works fine, seems only to be an issue with Crome
Hi
Is your dataset a SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) data source?

Hi,
Yes all have pro licences. There are two people in this group, one as a memeber with edit permissions and the other is me who is admin.
It's odd as it says it has been sucessful and shared but just isn't there to select
