Unable to amend or add any new staff to report using RLS

Hi there,

I currently have RLS set up for a number of reports which I create using Power BI desktop and then publish to Power BI service. Currently I am unable to amend or add any new members of staff to any of my datasets. Normally when typing in a member of staff into the search box, their email address comes up automatically, but this is not currently happening and the add and save box are greyed out. I have tried logging out and logging back into my account but that has not helped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a known issue that is expected to be resolved by tomorrow. There are some workarounds posted in threads here (example).

Some customers may experience issues adding users to RLS roles on the RLS Security tab. As a potential workaround, customers can refresh the page and add the user. Engineers are working on a fix and expect it to be deployed to all regions by end-of-day 3/29/19.
