URL Icon not displaying

Hi,

I have a report on Power BI Service, with Excel on OneDrive as database.
The Excel has a column that is a hyperlink, this column is correctly formated on excel, but if I activate the "URL Icon" it doesn't appear.
In Power BI Desktop you can change the data type to hyperlink, but this option is not available on Power BI Service.

Is there any way to do it?

Hi , @AlexDXCC

You can format a field with URLs as hyperlinks in Power BI Desktop, but not in the Power BI service.

For more information, you can refer to :

Add hyperlinks (URLs) to a table or matrix - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

And URLS must start with certain prefixes.

  • http
  • https
  • mailto
  • ftp
  • news
  • telnet

For more information, you can refer to :

Add hyperlinks (URLs) to a table or matrix - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Best Regards,

Aniya Zhang
